Here's the best I could find for a "Before" picture. Our natural maple cabinets were out-of-date and yellowing, but still in good shape. We've been in our house 9 1/2 years and decided it was time for an update.
"After": We had the cabinets glazed, added handles, put the dark beadboard on the island, painted, got the dark wood shutters and new stainless appliances.
We love it, although I am still getting used to having to clean fingerprints off the appiances. I'm now glad I had white all those years and never had to worry about it. The only thing I'm afraid it needs now is to switch out all the electrical outlets and light switches from white to black.
