I hope you can see the panda in this picture. We actually got to see him walking around, which is unusual. Lance commented that the zoo was his favorite, even over Legoland. We got to see lots of animals up close and liked the animal shows. We attracted plenty of attention wherever we went: "Wow, five boys?" "Are they all yours?" "Is the baby a boy too?" It's a good thing they have these great statues to take photos with, since the animals are hard to catch in a photo.
5) Seagulls in San Diego can actually read the word Subway. They don't have to see or smell your food, they will just directly attack the bag when you walk a few steps away from it. By the time I got back a few seconds later, they had eaten half a bag of leftover chips and chewed several holes in the plastic bag.
4) It's worth it to pay for a room that will sleep everyone. We were glad we did in San Diego after listening to Lance complain all night about how hard the floor was and the other 3 boys fighting about who was in who's space in the bed in Las Vegas.
3) Disneyland is now in second place for our favorite California vacations.
2) It is possible to survive a 13 hour road trip with 5 little boys. And this is the first time we've driven this trip where no one threw up!
1) Colby will never be to old to wear a leash. We'll be sure to bring one next time.
