This has become a great family (and now extended family) tradition to run the Homecoming Day Race at BYU. We think this may have been our 5th year but we have lost count now. Each of the boys (excluding baby Micah of course) ran a different kids race based on their age. Colby ran a cute little 200 meter and loved it. Kurt ran a great 400. Derek ran a pretty fast 800, and Lance had a well-paced mile. Orson took his ever traditional 2nd place in his age group with a Personal Record (for his older years) of 20:02. He is still an amazing runner. Deveri was extremely proud to just finish this 5K after just having a baby 3 1/2 months ago. On Orson's side, his sister Annette and all 4 of her kids ran in the races. And Deveri's sisters Alaina, Annisha, her husband, Jeremy, and daughter (who just moved to Utah from Hawaii) ran as well. Deveri's parents came to cheer us all on and take care of baby Micah. Then we all enjoyed the Homecoming Parade, but didn't get to go to the game.
